GET HOUSING

The VHA provides subsidized rental housing for very low-income, disabled people, elderly people, and families with children. If you do not qualify for VHA subsidized housing, there are other housing opportunities that may interest you. These opportunities also may be useful while you wait for VHA subsidized housing.

If you need subsidized housing, the first step is to see if you qualify. If a waiting list for which you qualify is open, we then ask you to complete a basic application and identify which housing programs you are interested in.

If you are currently homeless and need emergency shelter, please call the Emergency Shelter Clearinghouse at (360) 695-9677. The Clearinghouse line is open between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
