Clark County Resident Council (CCRC) is a voice for residents of VHA federally-funded housing. The Council represents the resident viewpoint on housing issues. The Council also serves as a Resident Advisory Board to the VHA. The Council is a recognized 501(c)(3) organization and sponsors activities and grants that benefit residents.

Established in 1993, the CCRC’s mission is to build community pride and responsibility through improved safety, services, and property improvements. It is a grass roots organization composed, created, and managed by residents.

What does this mean to me?

Each adult resident listed on your public housing or Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher lease is a general member of the Clark County Resident Council. General members have voting privileges and may be elected as officers.

Quarterly Meetings

The CCRC holds Quarterly meetings the second Tuesday of February, May, August, and November. The meetings begin at 11:00 AM at the RISE & STARS Community Center , 500 Omaha Way. The meetings are a chance to hear committee reports, address resident issues, and support individual resident concerns. The meetings may include a speaker. Resident Council meetings are also a time for social interaction and fun! And please join us at a meeting!

The CCRC supports the Christmas Project, the Block Party, the Skyline Park Party and other RISE & STARS Community Center activities and programs.
